Acetron® Food Grade Blue 50 POM-C is compliant in both Europe and North America, which is one of the key competitive advantages that it offers to the Food Processing industry. Blue in color for visual detection, increased food product safety, and proactive contamination prevention, Acetron® Food Grade Blue 50 POM-C is the most recent addition to Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials' Dual Compliant offerings (FDA and EU Food Grade).
Ertacetal® C ELS is Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials's copolymer conductive acetal grade. This grade is specifically developed for the use in applications where the characteristics of POM C are required, but with the added benefit of good electrical conductivity, such as in electrical applications and explosion sensitive areas; for ATEX cases, the conductivity shall be <109 Ohm (surface resistivity measurement).
Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials has developed this specific laser-writable Ertacetal® product since the standard POM-C natural grade does not show markings with common laser technologies (e.g. IR-YAG, UV-YAG).
Instead, the surface of standard POM-C just experiences burning but no visible dark marking.
The new product shows identical physical properties and machinability as Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials’s standard Ertacetal® C natural [POM-C] product and is available in a bright-white, less transparent colour.
Ertacetal® C LQ POM-C is processed by extrusion technology.
It is available in the form of plates in dimension of 10 – 60 x 610 x 3000 mm.
Stock items are available in the form of sheets in 20 and 25 mm thickness.
Polyacetal sheets / POM-C have great Pressure tested quality and High strength and stiffness. The POM-C sheets offer High rigidity (to -40 °C) and High thermal stability. They have Low water absorption and High dimension stability. POM-C sheets have good electrical insulating properties and very good sliding properties.
POM-C Polyacetal sheets have high resistance to solvents and very high resistance to stress cracks.

Polyacetal sheets are useful for engineering, transport and conveyor technology, packaging machines and paper handling, precision mechanical components, food industry, automotive industry, electrical engineering, household appliances, medical equipment
Appropriate for:
From polyacetal sheet you can manufacture spring components, bushings, gears, cam disc (eccentric), cam discs and ratchet mechanisms, sliding components, electrical insulators, valves, major precision components, various components and details that work long under water at t ° 60-80 ° C .
