Packings HV1066

HV 1066 is a fully new flexible metallic packing made of continuous thin ribbons of soft babbit foil, spirally wrapped, crinkled and folded around an expanded graphite core, then squared to the required size. Every ribbon is thoroughly lubricated with special synthetic lubricant and graphite. Suitable for slow to medium shaft speed (up to 10 m/sec), for high temperature centrifugal pumps handling crude oil, tar, distillates and lower fractions, heat transfer fluids, hot oil valves. It can be succesfully applied also on pumps for crystallizing fluids (sugarmills) or paints thanks to the fluid-proof feature. Hardness of shafts should be not lower of 500 Brinnel.
